Working with ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam has been an enriching experience for Priyamani. “It’s a new experience altogether, I am cherishing every moment of it,” she says. She is sharing screen space with Vikram and Aishwarya Rai in this multi-lingual film titled Ravana.
Does the director entertain suggestions from his artistes? “Yes, he does,” she quips. Apparently, the actress took some liberty and suggested a few changes in her dialogues and the gamble paid off ! “He just gave it a second thought and re-framed it,” she reveals.
However, she’s all praise for the noted filmmaker for giving ample freedom to artistes to interpret roles in their own way. Here’s a new entrant to Mani’s fan club!
