She is known as one of the most sparkling beauties in the film circuit and though she hails from the North she has always been deemed as a southern beauty and more so a Telugu girl since this is where she began her journey towards becoming a celebrity and a star who has reached the pinnacle of international success. She is none other than the smiling and shining and at the same time, the highly enticing Shriya.
The pretty girl who was not to be seen much in the southern side lately is now set to make a bounce back and that too with a bang. Her journey is going to begin at Kollywood where she has a flurry of movies lined up with some of the hottest heroes and the biggest banners. Top in the list is the film 'Mallanna' wherein she is pairing up with the super talented Vikram and then she has few others lined up with Sarath Kumar, Dhanush and Vishal. Of these, both Vishal and Vikram's flicks will be seen in Telugu too as their market in Telugu is also quite high.
Sharing her thoughts, Shriya said that she has been looking forward to the release of her movies and added that all her flicks will see her in diverse roles. While in 'Mallanna' she will be seen as a highly materialistic and target oriented girl, the other roles will see her in a rather timid manner. Shriya says that she has looked the most beautiful in this venture out of all her movies but then she was not too comfortable on the issues of her scenes which involved few lip locks and then a steamy bath tub scene.
Shriya is quite practical in her approach and says that at the end of it all, what matters is success at the box office and indicated that she would do her bit in the most specific role as possible if it comes to the matter. She is also said to have made it clear that she is single and has no link ups with anyone when it comes to her personal life.
Meanwhile, the news of Shriya's arrival is being looked at with great enthusiasm by the Telugu folks since they have been craving to see her back on their screens. For starters, she has her 'Mallanna' and reports say that her introduction scene is quite royal given the fact that it was shot at the famous Opera House in Ascoli Piceno in Italy. One hopes that her comeback roars at the box office and gives a flurry of successes and hits so that the ailing Kollywood and Tollywood circuits shine brighter just like Shriya's smile.
